New Born Cyber Security Analyst

Thank you for allowing me to join what I'm already sensing is an amazing community of growth and learning. I'm transitioning from Psychology, Disneyland retail, to cyber security to help my family financially aswell as my own someday. I was wondering if anyone here knows the first steps on this journey of becoming a cyber security analyst and how to grow from there? such as best programs/certifications to use, best affordable desktop, and which companies are offering internships. I'll be honest I'm terrified of this new path I'm taking and I really want to succeed. Just need a good mentorship and some guidance on this journey.
