trading view keyboard short cuts for a better work flow

after the discussion with aoc members

and others, ill be adding most useful shortcuts on trading view to help us with our work flow. i wont add every thing i know or find out for the sake of it being concise and memorable. hope it finds a good use for you guys.

GENERAL USE :

alt + T : trend line

to draw a perfect horizontal trend line , after pressing alt+T, click on the starting point, then hit shift and drag the line to where you need it to be, release shift key.

alt+H : horizontal line: : used for higher time frames where you need to see the line when you zoom in.

alt + J : for a horizontal ray, that starts from where you click and extends to the right.

alt+ F : fib retracement

ctrl + mouse wheel : to zoom in on a specific point hold ctrl while zooming in with the mouse wheel.

shift + mouse click : for measuring, hold shift click on starting point" then you can release the shift" and click on the second point that you need to measure in between>

Alt +V : vertical line filling the chart.

USEFULL WHEN BACK TESTING OR JOURNALING :

shift + down arrow to play and pause when in back testing mode

alt+G to go to a specific date

alt+S to copy a link for the chart screen capture " for your journal"

you can always use the allknown undo and redo buttons if you messed up anything by dragging a fib or a line while moving the chart< just hit ctrl +z for undo or ctrl+y for redo
