What are your predictions for 2024? ⚡
I love predictions - I love to think about them myself and I LOVE to hear what other people think is coming in terms of trends, shifts, and where we're headed as a community and the creator space as a whole.
So.... what are *your* predictions for the creator space, online biz, etc for 2024 and beyond? 🔮
Let's share in the comments!

  • more low ticket courses with one tangible outcome as opposed to full on programs. More hyper specific outcomes
  • Content that is short, specific, and bingeable. Gone are the days of 5+ hour courses
  • Time > money. I feel like the selling points now would be how much time you save more than how much money you make
  • More of a shift into one person business models over large complex teams
  • Less is more, more simplicity going forward

More focus on collaborations. I've seen a few groups now focusing on this and people really love cross-hosting each other and building relationships.
(Also agree about AI and private podcasts.)

AI will go even bigger, and it will be even more important to suss out what's real and what's fake. All the more reason to operate a soul-led business!
Skool will continue to grow (BIG TIME), and more creators will move their groups away from Facebook.
I need to feeling into this question with a bit more time and space to answer more!

Ok this is long lol but I agree with the above about webinars - launches I think also are going to work better with longer windows of enrollment..
I predict launches will get more creative, a lot more people will be offering smaller/lower priced memberships or courses. Sales pages will inevitablely be so much shorter. As a sales page designer I am getting less inquiries from clients to design sales pages. I think they will be more like factual and logistical for people to see details of the course/program but they wont be super long.
I think SIMPLE shit is going to be key - our attention spans are getting way shorter.. so like short programs that are like 4 weeks. I think more people crave 1:1 too and large group programs are not as entiicing. People want the hands on, smaller intimate groups.
Community is also a thing - I know people want to connect with others. Private podcasts are for sure a vibe. Honestly i BARELY watch workshops and videos that are more than 45 min. I tune into podcasts, reels, and community spaces more..I love emails and reading more than videos.
I think the coaching space is also bubbling where there are SO many people now it's going to be more challenging for people to get into the space and grow as quickly as it did from 2020-this year. People might be looking for specifics rather than a more vague/all encompassing program. Courses will work better if they are short easy to consume videos and steps.
Rethinking our creativity and HOW we reach our goals will be a theme, I think we will have to think outside the box and do things that have never been done before in marketing and how we show up.. in the last few years there has been a huge boom of online business owners entering the space so really owning what makes you unique & different will be key. I also think NETWORKING is going to be big - collaborations, partnerships and thinking of others and growing together rather than individually.
And lastly, I think the financial world, govt, real estate, big corporations or $$ elites will go through a big shake up..(check out pluto in aquarius/capricorn for 2024)

The 'old way' of doing online business with unethical tactics and high-pressure marketing will continue to decline, and we'll see more and more businesses emerge with or switch to genuinely valuable products, more interaction, and more community.

I do monthly predictions for my audience! As far as launch trends, I think 🤔 we are headed into micro-launches rather than 20 page long sales pages. People want solutions and want them quickly and don’t have time to even go through tons of sales content. I see trends becoming simpler and easier for launch methods.

Loving these predictions.
I agree with so many of you!!
  • Less polished (perfect backgrounds, styled photoshoots, etc) more "real" sharing where you just show up as you and being messy is fine
  • super accessible offers complemented by higher end offers that are really "Everything" someone needs and more high touch/hands on/small and intimate - so people having both in their ecosystem instead of shouting about one vs. the other being better haha
  • audio taking over!! more audio-first offers that are just audio/private podcasts - no videos
  • communities > ads - growing your flywheel where people invite their friends to your ecosystem rather than relying on unpredictable ads

I’ve been seriously wondering if private podcasts are going to replace webinars. Like so seriously that I’m considering trying it out myself. I think most people know that a webinar is just the top of a funnel and they don’t want to bother or they don’t have time to watch a video.
Private podcasts still feel fresh and new. I’m considering creating one for my waitlist to test it out and see how it would go as a lead in to my launch since most of my clients come from my public podcast audience.
Oh, and AI is gonna take over everything lol.

I've thought about this a LOT - we almost replaced our webinar with a private podcast for the February launch but ended up doing the webinar and after I wondered if the private podcast would have been better / more convenient for people (although we had a significant percentage of buyers say they joined because of the webinar - you can see in the $500k launch debrief all the breakdown).
But right now, I'm really loving the private podcast vibes!

Right?! And where I am in my life… podcasting is just SO MUCH EASIER. I think I’m gonna try it.
I have so many ideas for how to make it great.
Have you heard the podcast that Hello Audio launched? It’s called Launch Your Private Podcast and it has a bunch of case studies. I think you would love!

Yes! I agree with most of this, especially . And, Mariah, I think you are doing most of it!
  • Smaller, more niche areas of expertise will take over the larger corporations, beginning to spread the wealth a bit more.
  • Less polished, more authentic, showing how things really are, will replace a lot of the "super polished" influencers.
  • short, consumable content
  • Letting go of perfection
  • no more hustle, a lot more space and time
  • Spiritual connection & nature influenced guidance
  • There is always room for analytical thinking, but pure heart influence will take center focus
  • I think many will shift from 1-1 and only use that for a hand full of clients
  • Accessibility in pricing, depth, and reach to help many
  • High-end pricing won't go anywhere. It will just be saved more for those who need personalized attention
But I think the most important thing, is just show up in the way that feels best to you and share your message. Xx 🫶

One quick prediction... I think we'll see the marketplace flooded with so much garbage AI content by people just looking to make an easy buck that a major shift will start to take place that puts authentic creators and heart-centered brands into the valuable light that they deserve to be in. Many people, tired of all the "AI garbage", will realize how much they value true authentic connection and will seek out creators that resonate with them.
That's already happening now, to some extent. But I think it's going to hit a more "critical mass" scale by the end of 2024.
1st and 2nd quarters will be ESSENTIAL for heart-centered creators to get their community hubs established and start broadcasting their message so that when people come looking, they're able to find them.
And beyond "garbage AI content"... I think the creators that make "cookie cutter" content, or content that follows the pattern that it's "supposed to" follow, are going to take a hit. And the more "patternless" creators who are just raw and real will begin to take on more appeal.
🤷‍♂️

I was literally just talking about this on a call tonight! I totally agree. Jay Acunzo has also been talking a lot about related ideas lately re: AI garbage vs authentic creativity, this is a great recent post from him: https://jayacunzo.com/blog/to-the-endless-stream-of-ai-junk-thank-you-and-uh-oh
