How to get out of search?

Hi! When I type a keyword into the search box, how do I get rid of it?

Clicking the grey x removes it... temporarily.

Refreshing the page does the same.

So far, the only way I can go back to the normal view (without filtering for the keyword) is to come out of the group and go back in again.

What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?
