Imagine you had to build a community of over 50,000 members from scratch as quickly as possible. How long do you think it would take you? Even marketing and onboarding superheroes usually need 6-36 months for this. What if we could skip the hardest phase (Community Development) together by acquiring a few interesting FB groups where it makes sense? We would then create a premium group for $9/month on Skool alongside these groups. Our goal would be to migrate 5% of accessible members from the larger group into a VIP community, generating at least 2,500 x $9 = $22,500 MRR.
Out of my list of 200K FB groups, 437 communities have more than 500,000 members. Additionally, 153 groups have over one million members.
Does this math make sense from an investment perspective to someone with available capital? Ideally, someone with experience in M&A or having exited their own company.
