Hello folks! I'm speaking at an event next week, and thought it useful to share my thinking here:
My approach:
You give a talk / create content.
People get a feel for you, tune into what you're saying, and stick with you till the end ๐
There's always a purpose. Define the end purpose.
I want them to know:
โ that this community exists.
โ that I can help them if they want to action being the 'go-to' provider in their sector.
Here's my approach:
- Minimise distraction/ too much info at the point they make a decision. eg in my case, when they're on my website.
2.I am breaking my rule of ONE call to action for now.. this might change closer to the event:
I have to call to action:
- to join the community
- to book a discovery call with me.
Not beautiful, but it's 'done' and will be beautified later :)
What's your approach?
This way of thinking applies when you do what I'm doing here, when you're speaking on stage, at a meeting, pitching.
Comment and share your thoughts/ what you find works/ your 'aha!' from this.
