Happy Wisdom Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is off to a good start!
For today’s wisdom comes from the one and only, Michael Jordan - “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying”
Why are we so scared of failing? Failure is a big part of life. It’s one of the things that helps us grow and learn the most. If we can think of failure as a learning tool, the actual fail doesn’t hurt quite as much.
IF and WHEN you fail next, because you will, the best way out of the funk is to ask yourself “what can I learn from this?” from there, you can back track the process and make sure it is done differently the next time. The only real fail, is doing the same thing over and over again and not soaking in the learning experience part of that failure.
Now the last half, not trying. This can stem from a lot of things so we won’t go too much into that, BUT the not trying is what will eventually lead to the ‘what ifs’ and the what if’s will lead to much more angst than the actual failure of trying.
What is something you failed at and were able to learn from and came out better from that failure?!
