My 5 top sourcing strategies
1. free items. I get these by searching craigslist “free stuff”. FBM i search for free items. I do this every day. Most
Of what I look for are washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers. I sell parts
And scrap the rest.
2. Buy off FBM Mostly electronics, blenders, vacuums for parts, really anything I can resell.
3. Online auction sites. Usually by lots of tools, electronics, high end dinnerware, crystal etc
4. Storage units online or in person auctions.
5. moving and downsizing sales. These sales usually have a lot of items people want to part with and have a tight timeline. Here some real value. While you are there talk to the person running the sale. Ask some questions try to see if you can help them out. I usually tell them I’ll swing by at the end of their sale to see whats left. When I return I offer to take everything left stressing I really only want x y and z. I let them know I will drop it off at the donation center for them. This works every now and then.
I do understand many resellers Don't have the means to transport or store but at a minimum you should be able to get some things really cheap.
What are some of the things you are doing?
