I’m pursuing this course to be able to gain more insight into ways to control and prevent the spread of infectious diseases in our communities. I have actually for past five years as a researcher with the Lagos state university teaching hospital, and my experience so far as lead me to embark on this degree. Most of the challenges I face as a health researcher is not having enough knowledge to approach certain public health issues, so with this degree I will be able so solve more public health problems and maintain a healthier community.

I chose the BS in Business to gain essential skills in finance, management, and entrepreneurship. I have always wanted to become a business leader, and this degree will prepare me for leadership roles and help me contribute to business growth in my home country.

I chose to study biological and biomedical sciences because, I want to develop and and contribute to innovative treatment and therapies for diseases in my country especially in my community. I want to deepend my knowledge in the aspect of genetics and immunology to help improve treatment outcomes,I am very passionate and motivated to contribute to advancement in public health treatment in my country.

So have been practicing as a medical doctor for about 11yrs and I just recently started my telehealth practice which I really want to do it well, An advanced degree in healthcare administration and management from grand valley state university will equip me with the skills and knowledge I need for an effective telemedicine practice, also I will be able to Analyze systems needed for a good virtual care and design strategic plans for an effective telehealth practice, Apart from that, my husband and I own a private practice, so it’s really necessary for me to be more proficient in the area of health care management so together we can provide standard services for our patients.
