Santa Letters!
Killer strategy that was shared with me from a fellow LO... Great way to stay in front of your client base for the cost of a stamp... I’ll share Canva link for letter.
This is what he shared.
Looking for a meaningful yet budget-friendly way to connect with your SOI, database, or farm this holiday season? 🎅🏼 Sending personalized Santa letters has been a huge hit with parents in my community and is a fantastic way to create memorable connections! Here’s how I do it:
1️⃣ The Offer: I post in our local community Facebook group, inviting parents to sign up for free personalized Santa letters for their kids. Here's an example of my post:
🎅🏼 Want to add a little extra Christmas magic this year? We're sending FREE personalized Santa letters to kids! Letters will be mailed starting December 5th. Drop a comment below if you're interested, and we'll add your child(ren) to Santa’s list! 🎄🎁
2️⃣ Gathering Details: When parents comment, I send them a private message (and a friend request) to gather more details about their child(ren)—name, age, hobbies, if they have an Elf on the Shelf, and anything they’re working on improving.
3️⃣ Creating the Magic:
• I use a Canva template to design the letters.
• ChatGPT helps me craft personalized letters by acting as Santa! 🎅🏼 My prompt: Act as Santa and write a letter based on these details...
4️⃣ Final Touches:
• Letters are printed on cardstock, and I handwrite the envelopes using metallic pens for a festive touch.
• Sibling groups are sent together in one envelope (don’t forget extra postage!).
✨ The Results:
This year, I sent out 65 letters and received heartwarming feedback, including photos and videos of kids opening their letters with excitement. It’s been amazing to see the joy it brings!
Each family also received a Christmas card from me, including a 2025 calendar fridge magnet, helping me stay top of mind throughout the year.
If you’re considering spreading some holiday cheer with Santa letters this year, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to share tips! 🎄✨
