Recharge
This weekend was Recharge, an annual gathering of adults in scouting to enjoy a variety of crafts, meet new people and raise money for charity via an auction on the Saturday night.
The only criteria for attendance is being an adult (18+) and scouting.
I was so sorry to hear that some people had not attended thinking it not aimed at them.
It is aimed at all 18+ scouts to gain and share stories, experiences and ideas in a relaxed and creative space.
Recharge is traditionally the 3rd weekend in September. Please put it in your diary early. I have never met anyone who did not go home with new ideas and, more importantly, new scouting friends.
