Types of Ad Creatives that are working for us right now:
Hey there! I wanted to jump on and share some insights about what's been happening with our creatives on Facebook/Meta lately.
Taking a look at our Meta ad account for the past seven days, we've been experimenting with some new drops. While the return on ad spend numbers can be misleading, I've noticed a trend worth mentioning.
Interestingly, we've found that flat lays tend to perform significantly better than lifestyle images in our ads. It's unfortunate because we have an amazing community that submits incredible lifestyle pictures, but they just don't seem to resonate as well with our audience.
We're not exactly sure if it's due to Facebook's algorithm or how it interprets images, but time and time again, flat lays come out on top. Even though we have thousands of high-quality lifestyle images, the metrics consistently show that simple flat lays drive better results – lower CPMs, higher click-through rates, you name it.
We also see good results with hanger shots, so we often mix things up between flat lays and hanger displays to keep things engaging. Of course, every industry might have different trends, so it's crucial to experiment and see what works best for your niche.
I'd love to hear what's been working for you all and what industry you're in. It's always valuable to cross-reference and learn from each other's experiences. Stay tuned for more quick insights like this, and have a great day!
