Hey Friends,
I recently stumbled upon some insightful content from Strong Brand Social that I found valuable, and I think you might too. Please check out the video attached. If you can't watch right now, just read on.
First thing I gotta say though THIS IS NOT A PITCH for their system! I haven't bought their courses or anything but they offer super solid free nuggets. I've also attended their webinars but I'm probably never gonna buy this course.
So they basically pitch this pillar system for social media that's got me thinking about how I approach my own content. Their system is broken down into three key pillars:
1. Demand Generation
This is all about creating content that resonates with our target audience. It's highly sharable and is meant to bring in new followers. Basically it's the hook that piques the interest of potential community members.
2. Conversion
This pillar focuses on driving sales. It's the promotional posts that we're all familiar with, like announcing new product drops. I'll admit, this has basically been my go-to, but I'm realizing it's not enough on its own.
3. Brand Loyalty
The final pillar aims to make our existing customers feel valued and excited to come back. It's about fostering a positive, ongoing relationship with our audience.
I've been reflecting on my own social media presence and noticed it's been heavily weighted towards conversion. I'm starting to see the importance of balancing all three pillars to not only survive but thrive on the platform.
I'm curious about your strategies. How do you mix these elements in your social media posts? Do you have a similar structure, or do you approach it differently?
I'll leave a link to the email here so you can dive deeper into these concepts and maybe find some inspiration for your own social media plan if you're interested. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and strategies!
Best,
Devon
