Saroop Dhillon who turns 50 this year as been putting in man of the match performances against players who are almost 30 years his junior.

Saroop Dhillon who is known all around the Westend was winning trophies in 5s and 7s when most of these young players probably weren’t born. He was renowned for his quick feet and decision making gliding past players with ease.

Most of his early days career success came in for the notorious seven sins, where alongside his cousin Ajay - they both won one of the hardest league and cup competitions in Drumchapel during the 90s. Saroop has over 25 trophies during his time playing, winning Semsa tournaments alongside competitions in England. He really is an inspiration to everyone involved in the game.
