Tools and chemicals you’re going to need when getting started:
Congrats on starting your business! My friend Andrew and I started our mobile detailing business with $500 and upgraded as we made more money. This budget totals $480 for everything you need to start a business making $500+ a week.

Getting Started:
This is all you need to get your first few customers in the door and money in your pocket. If you have the money I’d recommend an upgraded pressure washer first.
  1. Vacuum - $96
  2. Pressure Washer $85
  3. 25ft hose $24
  4. Wheel & Interior Brush Set $29
  5. Foam Cannon $20
  6. Towels x2 $28
  7. Washmitts $11
  8. Clay Mitt - $22
  9. 2 pack Spray Bottles x2 $20
  10. 2 Buckets - Get from home depot $15<
  11. Hose, extension cord (borrow from family temporarily and then buy one as you start making more money)

Chemicals:
You don’t need nearly as many chemicals as you think you need, start small. This is exactly what we started with and made tens of thousands with just these basic items.
Make sure to dilute your all purpose cleaner 1:5 (80% water, 20% cleaner in the spray bottle)
  1. All Purpose Cleaner (Fabuloso) - $8/gallon
  2. All Purpose Cleaner (Mr. Clean) - $18/gallon
  3. (Use Mr. Clean if you have the budget but fabulouso works fine, it’s just a more noticeable scent)
  4. Wheel Cleaner $34
  5. Soap $30/Gallon
  6. Tire Shine $5 per can
  7. Spray Wax $15
  8. Glass Cleaner: Isopropyl Alcohol $5
  9. Leather Conditioner $15
Total: $130
Total for everything: $480
  • Prices fluctuate but you should be able to start  this business for with $500 or less
