What is a Keylogger?
A keylogger is a type of surveillance software developed for recording the keystrokes made from a computer keyboard. Primarily, it is designed to log every stroke that is typed by the user, which can later be reviewed or analyzed. The many purposes of keyloggers involve monitoring activities of users, password recovery, and even stealing sensitive information with malicious intents.
This kind of "malware" can be used by an attacker to find sensitive information about his victim, it works
To help you understand how keyloggers function, I’ve created a simple keylogger in Python. This version is intentionally basic and meant for educational purposes only, to illustrate the underlying mechanisms without promoting misuse. You can find it on my GitHub: KeyLogger.
I'll also leave a video that perfectly explain how does this kind of tool works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR_V0ioXu9c
