One phrase has held so many people back, long after the injustices that first wounded them:
“Know your place.”
Think about when these words are spoken:
• When someone considered “less” has the audacity to speak up.
• When someone considered “less” dares to believe they are equal to a so-called “superior.”
• When status, influence, and hierarchy are mistaken for worth.
But here’s the question: Is that what God says?
God doesn’t speak in the language of hierarchy or The Social Ladder. He calls us beloved, worthy, and made in His image. He tells us we are heirs, co-creators, and ambassadors of His Kingdom.
What lies have kept you bound?
Let’s challenge them together.
Drop your thoughts below, and let’s rewrite this story. What does God really say about your place?
