Why it matters:

• Ensure key points are captured accurately

• Free up mental space to focus on strategic thinking during meetings

How to use it:

1. Record your meeting (with permission)

2. Transcribe the audio and save it as a PDF document

3. Upload the PDF document file into ChatGPT to generate a summary of your meeting

4. Experiment and use the following prompts.

EXAMPLE PROMPT 1:

"You are an AI assistant for a Project Manager. Summarize the following meeting transcript, focusing on:

1. Key decisions made

2. Action items and their owners

3. Major discussion points

4. Any risks or blockers identified

Present the summary in a clear, concise format suitable for team communication."

EXAMPLE PROMPT 2:

“Your task is to review the provided meeting notes that are attached in the pdf file and create a concise summary that captures the essential information, focusing on key takeaways and action items assigned to specific individuals or departments during the meeting.

Use clear and professional language and organise the summary in a logical manner using appropriate formatting such as headings, subheadings, and bullet points.
