Flexible Hours, Fun Outings
With the kids out of school and the weather at its best, how do you adjust your working hours to fit in more fun family outings?
I like to split my days and make sure that when I am working, I am really focused and when I am spending time with the family, I am really present.
How do I do it? When it's time to work, I set up activities for the kids that I know will keep them busy for a while (playdoh, painting or a water table in the backyard and if it means a show, so be it) or make sure I have childcare available.
When it's time to have fun, I make sure that my clients know that I am not available and I stay away from my phone as much as possible.
I am curious to know, what is your strategy? Maybe you start earlier or decide to work in the evening.
Share your schedule hacks that help you get work done and still leave plenty of time for summer adventures!
