As the Beatles once said - HELP!
Hey all,
Pleasure to join you on the journey.
My social presence is “Travel Junkie Julian”. I focus on IG and TT.
My TikTok is an account I’ve had for years. It was shared with my ex and we were working as full time content creators up until our separation in Jan.
my ex kept the IG and I kept TT.
I completely lost the confidence to post and the page remained virtually dormant for months. I’m now more driven than ever and I’ve been sharing content that doesn’t align with the original channels audience (van/boat life to living in Asia).
I privatised hundreds of videos that are posted on the channel as they contain my ex and the content isn’t relative. With TikTok boosting old content, I was noticing people were confused which is why I hid them.
I’m not getting much engagement and of course that could be my videos and I welcome constructive feedback. However, I wonder if it’s best to ditch this channel and start fresh? I feel like the algorithm is in favour of new creators who post daily, than a dormant account with different content.
So in summary: do I start fresh or push forward?
