The role of Front-End, Back-End and ApIs
Back-end: The back-end refers to the server-side of an application. It encompasses everything that users don't see directly but that powers the functionality of the application. This includes databases, server logic, authentication systems, and more. Back-end developers work on implementing and maintaining these components, ensuring that the application functions correctly, securely, and efficiently. 📌 Front-end: The front-end, on the other hand, refers to the client-side of an application. It's what users interact with directly through their web browsers or mobile devices. This includes the user interface (UI) elements, such as buttons, forms, and menus, as well as the presentation logic that determines how these elements are displayed and interacted with. Front-end developers work on creating a seamless and intuitive user experience by writing code in languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 📌 API (Application Programming Interface): An API is a set of rules and protocols that allows different software applications to communicate with each other. In the context of web development, APIs are commonly used to enable communication between the front-end and back-end of an application. The back-end exposes an API that defines how client-side applications can request and manipulate data or perform other actions. The front-end then makes requests to this API to retrieve data or trigger actions on the serve the back-end is responsible for the server-side logic and data processing, the front-end handles the user interface and client-side interactions, and APIs facilitate communication between the two layers.

Thank you so much Kelechi! I always wanted to know about this but was too lazy to even search it up on google. (Bit still, that was 2-3 years ago and now I have become much more disciplined with the help of Allah, Alhamdullilah) Also the image explains it very well
