"If you think I'm big, you should check out my army bros"
No Choice Motivation
My family is dealing with a very sad situation but the bright side is that we now have a beautiful baby boy in our care (my grandson). We are new parents again working our way through it. Thankfully my wife is supermom and is incredible with babies. Now I have no choice but to get fit, drop the weight, gain energy and ditch the bad foods that are hurting my body. When confronted with crisis, my appetite disappears. It has taken a week to even feel normal hunger pains. I have not had any of my usual cookies or treats in the evenings, and I believe this has greatly reduced the pain in my knees. I want to be so much better than I have in the past 5 years. I need to be. For my family. I have no choice now. And I am looking forward to every win.

I am entering a new chapter of my life where I am taking care of my grandson. I need to be fit and healthy with energy. Good sleep, food discipline. There is no choice, victory will be had.
Sleep
My job is a computer consultant means I work late hours. And unfortunately I learned a very bad habit of snacking late at night. By not eating after 1900 hours, it makes a very difficult work life. But thankfully I've also lately been able to go to bed at 10:00 instead of 2:00 a.m.. getting a good night's sleep seems to have helped my hunger get in control. I almost broke down during a very stressful family event last night, but then I realized this is my first week on the new plan and I don't want to break that. This site this group is giving me accountability that I need. So if you can go to bed early, get a good night's sleep. Don't stay up late. Watching TV shows and eating. Get up early the next morning and watch your TV shows by yourself before anyone else is awake. But wait until later for delicious breakfast

Feels good
Day two of no food after 1900. Drinking lots of water and walking 30 minutes. Feeling positive about the future.

I'm 281. I remember when I shocked to see I was 250. Oh how I wish I was only 250.
