As soon as KJ posted this one I knew I wanted to try it. Gonna work this one into my practice sessions. I'm enjoying myself even if my face doesn't show it lol
@Paul Schmidt I'm using indoor 45D (GH Skates). They felt very slippery at first, but not so much anymore. I'm skating on InOut tiles (usually slippery). I've also been cleaning the wheels and tiles. I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations. (PS, I'm very finicky on how wheels feel RE "grippyness")
How much practice time are yall getting every week? I skate for a couple of hours usually around 3 times a week, but i always want to skate more!! haha
If it was up to me, I'd skate everyday. But I stick to 3-5X a week, with sessions of 45/60 min in average due to an ankle injury. Usually I go until my ankle starts "complaining".
I believe I paid lifetime floor tax in advance last year. I was practicing dribble/pivot and landed on my ankle. Somehow the wheel felt grippy and I lost balance on the pivot. It took me one surgery, physiotherapy, $$$ and 6 months to be back on wheels.
