lil question for Skoolers
How much effort do you guys put into your About pages? Is your skool community success dependant on the conversion rate of your About page? Thank you <3

It's not necessarily dependent on your About Page, but why wouldn't you make use of the real estate at your disposal and eliminate friction from your funnel? @Jason Arnopp has a fabulous free community all about the About Page: https://www.skool.com/convert/about Definitely join him there and check out what he has going on!

🤫 Secret Skool Features page
I found a secret Skool page. With all the main Skool features. I like it! I also found the use case page, which was easier since it was in the menu of the Skool Features page. What do you think?

Transition from FB to Skool
Ok - it's time! We have a FB group of almost 20,000 people that we need to transition over. The only thing that is stopping us from doing this is the post moderation feature - we delete a lot of posts before they even reach the feed and really need this feature for our community. Do we know if this is on the cards to roll out?

@Team Forex For Women Are you still in the planning stage or is your move from FB to Skool happening? I'm curious!
Skool vs School
This post is not anti-school. But it will make a case for Skool. (Yes that's debt in the screenshot, not me flexing! 🤣) Let me explain. I've spent over 60% of my life in school. School til 18, University til 24, Accounting exams for another 18 months. It's been a lot. That’s a lot of time in classrooms, exams, and textbooks. And don’t get me wrong—formal education has its value. It laid a foundation for who I am today. It allowed me to become a chartered accountant, quit my job, and move to Bali. But... Learning something from a textbook is one thing. Doing it is another. I spent 5.5 years studying accounting and finance, 1.5 while working full-time. Guess what? I learned more in the 1.5 years working and studying than I did in the previous 4. Why? Because I was actually doing it... Doing the thing is much better than studying the thing. That's how you learn. And that’s where Skool comes in. I joined Skool a little over three months ago, and the experience has been transformational. Here’s why: - Skool is filled with people actively doing. - Communities of like-minded individuals, all working toward similar goals. - IT DOESN"T COST £9,000 PER YEAR (Side note: £50k debt sat on my head to become an accountant - not including the £10k exams my company paid for) The best part? It’s not just about learning—it’s about growing with others. We are all heading towards a similar goal. Some people are further ahead, and some people are just getting started. It's inspiring to see people ahead of you, it lays the path of what is possible. We are all early. And $99/ month sounds a lot better than the £50k debt that you get for a formal education in the UK. The system is broken. Skool is the solution. It opens up doors that never existed before. The lesson? You don’t need a classroom to learn. All you need is a laptop, wifi and a desire to be better than yesterday! What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from doing, not studying? Let’s share in the comments below 👇

Right?!! It's crazy how much higher education costs now 🤯 I came out of my undergrad with no debt (it was a loooong time ago!) but went back to do a post-grad professional qualification and came out with a chunk of debt. Thankfully as it was an NHS-sponsored course, it wasn't as costly as it could have been. Though as soon as I started working as an NHS Occupational Therapist, the loan company started taking a chunk 🙈 My eldest niece is now in her second year at uni and the debt and costs are unreal 💔 She's on a career path that requires a uni degree so I totally get her reasoning for doing it, but I'm kind of glad-sad that my girls are motivated and choosing differently. They've got friends in college (16-18yo) who are being taught business, law, etc courses by tutors who've only ever studied it...not by people who've owned businesses or worked in the legal system 😵 Make it make sense! I have no idea where our four girls will end up in life, but I am beyond thankful that we stepped off the mainstream path back in 2012. We chose homeschooling (and later building our own business) without really realising that we were creating a slow burn for our family of doing life differently. We're doing things in our own way and in our own time and learning from people who are doing things their own way and creating lives that they love! Great share @Liam Sheridan!! 🔥

@Liam Sheridan Totally! The British education system's obsession with choosing a career at 13 or 14 is bonkers 🤯 They make it sound like your exams and subject choices at that age will determine your path for the rest of your life. It's nonsense. Yes, they may determine your next couple of steps. But beyond that, there are almost always choices. I pivoted from an established NHS career into a completely different career path and launched my first business at 46 😂 It makes me smirk a little when I can sense fear from someone in conversation because my choices make them feel threatened. 15 years ago I would have had the same mindset. Now...
