Newest Ai short film.
I focused a lot more on the transitions and the emotions in the dialogue as well as the background sounds. I couldn’t resist diving into the story of gargoyles.Gargoyles have captured the imagination for centuries—mysterious figures perched atop ancient temples, often seen as protectors or silent watchers. In folklore, these stone guardians are said to ward off evil spirits, but I’ve always been intrigued by a deeper question:What if they were once human? I created my second AI short film, focusing on the transformation of a warrior into a stone sentinel, cursed to guard an ancient temple for eternity.I took extra time with this piece, honing in on emotional depth, especially in the narrator’s voice, and refining the sound design to enhance the atmosphere. Though shorter than my previous film, I’ve given great thought to consistency across the AI-generated visuals. I welcome any critiques or advice—your feedback helps me improve! Tools I used:MidJourney KLing AI Text-to-speech with ElevenLabsSound effects with ElevenlabsCapcut for editing. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/niel-de-kock_artgen-midjourney-kling-activity-7246097210990305280-k9xQ?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

@Alexander K. Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you like it. If there is anything you think I can improve on, let me know. I have already started one the next one.
48 Hour short film
"Scavengers of the Void" - My Short Film I’ve finally completed my short film, "Scavengers of the Void."Surprisingly, it ended up almost double the length of a typical Gen 48 short film, despite being created in just under 48 hours. I really enjoyed the creative process and learned a great deal along the way.But I enjoyed creating it and learned so much along the way. Throughout the process, I explored several AI tools, including ChatGPT, Midjourney, Kling, and ElevenLabs. Each tool added something unique to the project, and I even experimented with sound design to enhance the film's overall atmosphere. I’d love to hear your thoughts! What did you enjoy most? What areas do you think could be improved? Your feedback would mean a lot as I continue refining my skills. Unfortunately, I could not upload it, seeing as the file is above 100mb. Here is a link to the video that I could post on Linkedin. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/niel-de-kock_ai-aiimages-midjourney-activity-7243692886129573888-toTr?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

@Andreas M Thank you. I am glad you liked it. I will definitely take the advice into consideration. I also agree that cutting and transitions can be improved. I am still figuring out the best way to get the most of elevenlabs voices.

@Alexander K. I'm Glad you liked it.I am definitely going to work on and improve on the advice @Andreas M has given. I am already working on the next short film in a dark fantasy world and will try this much slower. Hopefully, in a week's time, I can concentrate on the advice I have been given.
Which AI is best for Research
I am currently scripting a course. I want to get the most accurate data. Which AI Platform would everyone use and why?

I suggest using the platform perplexity because it searches the whole internet and provides a brief summary at the end with links to the sources. I use it a lot to create my newsletter.

@Tom Mays Yes, my prompts start a lot shorter in Perplexity than in ChatGPT. Yes, there is a paid version of Perplexity.
AI short film in 48 hours
Unfortunately, I was unable to join Runway's Gen 48 challenge. I thought it would still be fun and good practice to create a short film in 48 hours. This is the first scene in my 48-hour short film project. What is everybody else doing this weekend?

@Alexander K. My story is similar to that of the Firefly TV series. The crew discovers something they shouldn't have. The ads look great. I can still see it was done with AI, but it is getting harder and harder. Have you tried using Kling to create ads?

@Alexander K. I'm not sure. I have used several image-to-video tools and have been impressed with Kling so far.
