Kettlebell Kumite #7 - Mixed Team Clean & Press - Oct 10-27
This Kumite is about a friendly competition in mixed teams. You will form pairs of one Kettle-Boy and one Kettle-Bella to compete together against the other teams in a 5-minute Clean & Press contest. Here is how it works: Find yourself a team partner to work together and motivate each other to new heights! Each of you record a single 5-minute Clean & Press session with a single KB. You can take as many attempts as you like. But only post your best effort. You may switch hands and put the KB down as many times as you need to during those 5 minutes. Time does not stop when you take a break. You cannot switch weights during the session. You can do Strict Press, Push Press or Jerk to get the KB into overhead fixation. Your combined reps and weights will determine your final score as follows: For the rep count both team members have reached you add the 2 weights used up and multiply the result with 2x that rep count. For any reps only one team member has achieved, you count those reps and multiply them with the weight those reps were done. Here is an example: Gregory has achieved 100 reps with 24kg. Angie has achieved 110 reps with 16kg. The score is: Both have done 100 reps with a combined weight of 40kg: 200 * 40 = 8000 points Angie has done an additional 10 reps with 16kg: 10 * 16 = 160 points Final score: 8160 Now all you have to do is find yourself a partner and get goin'! Update: To account for the surplus of Kettle-boys, 2 Kettle-boys can now also be a team, but get their final score miltiplied with 0.667 to stay comparable. E.g. a combined result of 9000 multiplied with 0.667 would come to a final score of 6000.

28 reps (14 each side) with 16kg. Rookie numbers! I’ll give it a try later with 12kg to see if math helps. And also re try it with 16kg but faster. @Ljupka Brünisholz. https://youtu.be/ybEBDDsHgdI?si=1JinJ-c58PF1BLY7
New toys
After the 30 days challenge, I felt so excited I purchased a second 12kg to learn doubles, a 16kg to slowly increase weight and a 8kg to learn windmill and Turkish get up. The 22kg remains there as a reminder of my greediness and I can only do swings with them and grind workouts

Ascending Weight Ladder
Holy crap!!!! This idea really was as stupid as I thought! I love it!!! 😁 I did my Alast Mace Flow for the ENSONS protocol. Started at 10kg and added 0.5kg every round. Made it to 14.5kg before things started feeling unsafe and forced me to stop. Turns out my half kilo plate has a slightly smaller hole which messed a bit with some of the MacGyvering. You can see in the video how I've been struggling with it. But there was no quitting. And I have an idea how to address it for next time. For once I might increase the time per round to 2 minutes to grant me more rest. Roughly 30 seconds break is not a lot when also needing to change weights. This needs to be done again 💪

30th day of the 30-day Kettlebell Challenge of Lebe Stark
Hi! Just finished the Kettlebell workout: Steve Cotter’s IKFF Master’s trainer fitness test (adapted to beginners), as part of the 30th day of the 30-day Kettlebell Challenge of Lebe Stark. I had to do it changing side rather than one side to be able to finish it. But I will do it again next month after training more. 12kg kettlebell 100 H2H Swings 32 Clean and Jerk 60 Snatches 39 Goblet Squats 60 second hold Squat Unbroken 1 round https://youtu.be/z-2l_zqtpng?si=DymCWJ9s8vUXrZ89
