Deep calm for me is visualising the sea gently washing over me with the in breath and gently washing out with the out breath during a YN practice. How would I express calm with another person? being present and really listening to what they need to say. Two things happen here - the person becomes calm because they know they are listened to and u feel calm because u are being in the present moment.

Yes it certainly has changed. I’m lying here thinking how to put this into words - is that being or doing? I like making lists on my whiteboard of things that I need to achieve during the day - especially if there’s housework to do ( if I don’t make the list the housework gets skipped!!) 😂😂 and of course it’s still needs to be done. In my retirement I’ve learned to complete (or not as sometimes time runs out) but I intersperse the duties with ‘being’ time i.e. cuppa outside in garden etc. I love the surprise when I rub off the task’s and realise they’re done.

2025 Here we come
Fantastic idea Ayla. I’m on Norfolk Island (off the coast of QLD Australia) playing golf and swimming in the sea everyday- this comes abruptly to an end on 31st. Really looking forward to ‘sort of’ group practice again.
