Who's your dream client? ✨
Matthew Thompson asked me this question a couple months ago.... And I gave him a crazy answer... "Max Perzon" I then proceeded to gush for 10 minutes about how much I loved skool and how cool it would be to write for someone that was helping to grow the platform. Turns out Max was in the room. And Matthew said, "We're going to introduce you to him." After a moment of panic and I walked up and shook his hand. Its been crazy cool contributing to his brand however I can sense then. Moral of the story? Figure out who your dream client is, because they might just become your real client. I had a similar experience. I mentioned on Reddit that I would love to work with someone specific in the pickleball space. 2 days later the person I mentioned reached out to me through my website. They had no idea about Reddit so it was 100% the universe aligning us. Wild how that works out sometimes.

@Cameron Scott pretty surreal. Thought I was being punked. 😂
What should I do?
🚀 Quit my job at Duolingo to start my own business! 🤔 Which niche should I dive into - (1) pitch deck writing, (2) content writing, or (3) newsletter writing? 💡 Any advice for this newbie entrepreneur?

Hey @Tushar Durga , if I were you, I wouldn't limit myself to writing in one of those three areas. Instead, consider what industry you'd like to write in and go after those types of clients. I'm not sure what you did with Duolingo, but what skills can you take from their that sets you apart? As a writer, I do all three of those jobs from time to time (and more!). So, it's not about what type of writing you do, but who and what industry you can do it for that's going to help you build your business.
What are the best copywriting books?
I spoke a bit about obsession earlier(if you don't know what I'm talking about scoll the feed and find the post about obsession) So on to the next piece of the obsession. I am increasing my library today with some copywriting books for when my wrist needs rest from copying the writing... I got 1 of them already and 2 are on the way. 1) Cashvertising by Drew Eric Whitman 2) Cashvertising: Online by Drew Eric Whitman 3) Copywriting Secrets by Jim Edwards What are some of the best copywritimg books out there?

It's not specifically about copywriting - but in many ways it is - but Stephen King On Writing is a great book. And for inspiration and getting past your own -ish, Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon.
