Did I make the right decision?
I have been running the search campaign detailed below for two weeks now using a maximize clicks bidding strategy. Both the client and I have decided to turn off the campaign. The clicks, impressions, and CTR have far exceeded our initial predictions. We received 13 leads through our landing page; however, none of them converted. I believe the reasons for this could be: 1. Therapy Clients are Hard to Convert: This campaign is for a private therapist offering therapy sessions. Therapy is not typically something people are eager or excited to spend money on. 2. Cost of Therapy: The client's fees were £80 per hour, which is the industry standard for private therapy. However, this fee is still quite high, and not something people are “excited” or “happy” about paying. 3. Economic Uncertainty: This campaign is based in the UK. Recently, our government changed, leading to economic uncertainty. People are now more cautious about their income due to this political shift. 4. Seasonal Influence: We are currently in summer. Although the UK doesn’t get much summer, the improved weather could make people happier, potentially reducing the demand for therapy. 5. Landing Page Changes: As indicated by the arrow pointing to the graph, we have not had a single conversion since changing the landing page. Initially, the therapist’s fees were in the description and often overlooked. Leads would complain that the fees were too expensive upon contact. We then updated the landing page to clearly reflect the fee, creating more friction to improve lead quality. Since making this change, we have had no conversions. What are people’s thoughts on my hypotheses?

@John Bartholemew interesting points, I’ve discussed with the client that we should relaunch the campaign once summer is over and things have calmed down a little bit with our new government. I guess I’m also interested in both 1. Did I make the right decision 2. What peoples thoughts were regarding this.

@Adriel Solorzano hey man thanks for the feedback! The client ended up telling me later today that they are also running into budget constraints so that has also impacted the decision to stop the ads .
Is my understanding Correct (Newbie here)
Currently, managing my first Google Ads Campaign and would like to check my understanding of upcoming weeks. (I will try to keep this short) I have a search campaign for a psychologist with no previous data as everything is brand new. I have started the campaign bidding on “Maximise Clicks” to allow Google to gather some data before changing to “Maximise Conversions” We are currently still within Week 1 (the learning phase) is my understanding correct as to what to do with the upcoming weeks? Week 1-2 (Gathering data, adding negative keywords & positive keywords, making sure the campaign is collecting data. Just overall maintenance) Week 2-4 (similar to Week 1-2, looking at the data with the regards to the CTR, Clicks, and impressions and most importantly leads and plan / action how we could improve this) IF the campaign has achieved 30+ leads through a 30-day period (will come back to this to check as the campaign continues) Week 5-6 (Switch to “Maximise Conversions”, continue more of Week 1-2 in regard to optimisation, cleaning and perfecting the campaign) Week 8+ (Cash money and a ton of leads coming through? And just maintaining the campaign? / making improvement regarding the ad copy, ads ect ect?)

Campaign stopped spending?
Hello everyone, Brand-new learner of PPC here! I have a campaign that has stopped spending any budget since 12pm today (9 hours total since any update on the dashboard) and therefore has stopped getting any clicks or impressions? The search campaign has been running since Friday and is set at “maximise conversions” I understand that my campaign is still in “learning” mode, so think that this might have something to do with it? Everything is live, and I do not have any schedule set for the ads also no pending billing or payments. I've had one thing pop up regarding “Submit Lead Form” needs attention, but from doing a Google around that seems to be not that big of a deal. Any suggestions would be amazing!

@Austin LeClear these are the settings that I have running for my campaign and I do not have any error messages or anything, I have now changed the goal from account goal to campaign goal and for whatever reason I now have 1 impression and 1 click so I am not sure if that was the issue or I have now restarted the learning phase for my campaign?
