My wife and I have been in Da Nang for a week now, and I just wanted to give some input on what we've experienced in Vietnam so far. First off, we booked a hotel from South Africa, b&b, and that worked out about $400 for 20 nights! Crazy cheap and.very, vety good. We were told to budget up to $100 a day for spends and tbh, you would struggle to spend that. Ok, if you go to the most expensive seafood restaurants and act like a crazy tourist you could spend way more, obviously. Taking it relatively sensibly, the cost of living is very affordable. The people are great and so refreshingly honest. To a certain extent, they don't even understand tipping, let alone ask for one! The weather has been exceptionally hot, so aircon is a must. If we were to live here, our cost of living.would be very affordable. Just throwing it in the mix for digital nomads, definitely worth a look 😀
