Daily Challenge #2
Something that I have noticed this week has been that in order to make a change you need to get uncomfortable. And doing something that is uncomfortable is risky because you probably won’t like it. But the beauty of taking risks is that it can open new doors for growth. My Dad used to always say, “Take Calculated Risks” It’s important not to be foolish and take stupid risks but you need to take new risks in order to make a change. Today I want to encourage everyone in here to do at least one thing that is either slightly risky or uncomfortable.

Didn’t get any pics unfortunately, but I rode my roommate’s motorcycle last night after work. I am confident in my skills on a bike but I had never been on one that big (both in physical size and engine displacement). Even though I was a little nervous, I put on my gear and hopped on it. 0 stalls 0 drops 0 crashes. After about five minutes I was comfortable enough to do a few pulls.

Take 10 seconds to read this and once your done comment a gif to let me know you read it. This is a reality I have come across lately in my journey of building my confidence as a man.

Confidence is a Learned Skill
Guys one of the things I’ve been noticing as I have become more and more self aware about what makes me confident and what doesn’t is the fact that confidence (like anything else) takes practice. Just like flirting with that hot girl, or riding that bike that may be too big for you, or trying to learn a new martial arts skill. When you first start out you will mot be very good. But confidence can be Learned it doesn’t necessarily need to be inherited. Here’s 3 things to do this week to help grow your confidence (and I want to see videos in the group chat of y’all doing these 3 things 😎🫡) 1) Talk to 3 new hot chicks this week. (even if the conversation is 10 seconds long just get out of your comfort zone) 2) Go on one random Adventure and show us a video of where you went. (bonus points if it’s in the woods or at midnight) 3) Do 4 sets of 25 push ups to start your day one of the days this week (I do 125 push ups everyday to either start or end my day)

Glad you finally got to ride a motorcycle on your adventure! Does this mean you’re keeping the Sena?

In todays daily challenge I want each of you to list one thing you like about yourself and one thing about yourself that you are currently working on. Building self confidence requires you to have ultimate self awareness so doing daily check ins are critical to your success. Bonus points if you add a recent picture from your camera roll.

One thing I like about myself is my ability to stay calm under pressure and make a calculated decision. I don’t have a picture of the most recent example since I was a little focused on the moment. One thing I am working on is getting back into top shape. I am not unreasonably out of shape (especially compared to today’s standards), but I know I am capable of much more. Now that I have days off, I can make time to go to my old fight gym again. Attached a picture of me making time at the gym in Kyoto, Japan. As well as a photo of my latest adventure (Japan).
