I'm curious to know has anyone here successfully applied for this visa?

Where are the upcoming nomad hotspots?
In a constant quest for the next Chiang Mai—I'm reaching out for your collective wisdom on some undiscovered locations. Where are the upcoming nomad hotspots that offer that perfect blend of culture, connectivity, and cost of living? I'm especially keen on places off the beaten track, the ones not yet splashed across every digital nomad blog. For instance, in my recent chat with @Sam Bindloss, Bansko in Bulgaria came up as a potential hotspot. Have you encountered any such hidden treasures during your travels?

I stayed at Bansko in 2021. Nice place with beautiful surroundings. Very cheap but a bit small to base yourself permanently. My choice would be Antalya in Turkey. Beautiful city, plenty to do and very cheap

A really messed up thing about living in Thailand
@No Body ⁣posted yesterday about seasons. One of the most messed up things I have found about living in Thailand vs the UK is that the sun, year round, goes down and comes up at almost the same time every day. This means you only ever get about 12 hours of day light. Now, I don’t know if it’s just me but I feel like because of this the days feel like they go by much faster. It’s a really strange feeling and it kinda feels like life in general is going by at 1.5x speed. It could be that I’m just getting old and therefore I perceive time to be going faster. However, I do think the short days have a lot to do with it. Anyone else living in Thailand who can relate to this?

This is one of the unexpected joys of living in the UK, long summer days and the changing of the seasons. I love the spring and autumn in the UK. We get so much colour and in spring you really feel invigorated.
