The Follow-Up: How to Turn Connections into Meaningful Business Relationships We’ve all been thereβ€”you attend a networking event, connect with some great people, and then…nothing.Β Why? BecauseΒ networkingΒ without follow-up is just socializing. If you want to build aΒ network that matters, you have to make follow-up a priority. Here’s how to do it effectively: 1. Follow Up Quickly Timing matters. Aim to follow up withinΒ 48 hoursΒ of meeting someone. Send a personalized message that references something specific from your conversation. This helps build a stronger connection and shows that you’re engaged and serious. 2. Provide Value Right Away In your follow-up message,Β offer valueβ€”this could be a resource, an introduction, or even a solution to a challenge they mentioned. The key is to position yourself as aΒ trusted resource, not just another contact in their inbox. 3. Set the Next Step Don’t let the conversation end after the first follow-up. Suggest a clearΒ next step, whether it’s a virtual coffee, a brainstorming session, or collaborating on a project. Keep the momentum going and move the relationship forward. 4. Following up is essential. 90% of coaches & Experts follow up only once. Follow up with everyone you encounter that pre-qualifies as a future client until either they become a client or until you die. Whichever comes first

Coaching Levels
I was working on my mastermind group for coaches and I decided to use ChatGPT to put my list of coaching skills worksheets and trainings in an order. It came up with coaching levels, similar to Rich Litvin's levels of coaches, BUT I like mine better because instead of focusing on the money you are making to determine your "level" it focuses on the skills you have. I would love your thoughts and if you are a coach vote on your level, so I know where to start adding my massive vault of content and trainings!
