I just got off the phone with a shop owner who offered a tech 5% of gross sales (not gross profit) to come on board. If you were on the call, what would you tell this shop owner?
Just imagine if there were 4 techs all on this program, then 20% of sales would be just the techs payroll. There are others that need to be paid. I wonder deeply where that number came from and the ramifications for the entire team. So much to be said about this. Just my two nickels!
