Phantom Coalition
Bilateral radiographs w/ weight-bearing and right ankle MRI performed https://www.cmrad.com/cases/1735748974 Patient was subsequently taken to the OR for a calcaneonavicular coalition. The issue is that I"m having trouble seeing it on the pre-operative images :S

I do wonder if we should be calling certain types of coalition if that could lead into not needed and even damaging surgeries. This case for example is a tragedy fpr the patient, not to say the surgery was triggered by any report, but I just wonder in general. What do you think?
Dr Agten´s article at today´s ESSR Webinar about sacroiliitis
Screenshot of today´s ESSR webinar by Dr Filippo Del Grande showing Dr Agten´s article on postpartum bone marrow edema. Congratulations once again for such amazing work, Chris. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30247978/

@Muhammad Abdullah exactly! You can not speak about sacroiiliitis and not reference Dr Agten´s article, that´s a fact ;)
Teleradiology companies
Hello dear fellows! I am currently testing the teleradiology waters here in Spain and so far it`s not being very appealing. The pay is quite low and some still use low field MRIs, etc. Furthermore it seems to me that the radiologist role is not being protected in many ways. Could you please share your experiences? Any advice? Thanks a lot!

@Sean Leong Thanks so much for sharing your experience. 300 studies per day seems insane to me. And I completely agree with you, I rather do less volume , provide as much value as I can, do my best and have peace of mind. That it is my priority.
SORA, text to video from OpenAI
https://openai.com/sora This is so amazing and crazy. It shows what can be done and if you still think AI will not replace (some/many) radiologists, then you better wake up. It's just a question of how much money can be made with it, then somebody is doing it. What do you think?
