I've heard of some people doing a $1 Skool community instead of a free community and I love the idea. Recently I've noticed a big trend of some people (won't list names) making the exact same post across multiple communities at once. There's a better, less annoying, more genuine way to do it. I get it, shout-out your sh*t and share it with everyone. But man is it annoying to have 10 of the same notifications, from the same person, one after another, each with the exact same title and content. I've had to unfollow multiple people this week becasue of it, which is unfortunate because they have great content and insights to share. Here are a few tips on how to help YOU share the same but different content: ✅ Change the title to something different that relates to each unique community ✅ Modify the post to speak more directly to the audience that is in each community ✅ Use different picture or gifs to spruce things up and make it more interesting ✅ Use this as an opportunity to run A/B tests to see which version performs better Posting the exact same thing across multiple communities is obvious and disingenuous. I’m from Finland 🇫🇮, and like many of you, I didn’t grow up speaking English. I learned English in school, but now, here I am about to launch my free community in English, and even starting a YouTube channel soon (and yeah, it’s freaking scary, but I'm going to do it anyway). I’m curious… for all the online coaches who aren’t native English speakers, what’s your biggest struggle? 🤔 Is language a roadblock that’s stopping you from building the community you know you could if you were fluent? Or is it something else? 😅 I’ve been diving into this myself and found some awesome tools that make things way easier. You don’t have to be perfect, and you can still create fire content 🔥 Here are some hacks that help: • Struggling to film in English? You can literally read from a script and use AI video editing tools to make it look like you’re staring right into the camera, even if you’re not! 👀 • Got great content in your native language? AI can take that video and make it look like you’re speaking English. Trust me, it looks real enough when it's done right. Since I've been getting personal messages frequently, here's an update. *** EDIT: All I want to say is, that they are working on it. I'm not a tax advisor.*** I usually like to help and answer every single message, but for now I really can't explain everything in detail to everyone or over the phone. Please don't take it the wrong way. Not ignoring you, just trying to manage time wisely. Especially now that I've caught a flu 🤧. @Sam Ovens sent me the latest updates on Friday and asked for feedback, which I discussed with my tax advisor. I still had a few points of criticism, but soon we should be able to do something with these invoices and finally use the in-built payment system. Just to clarify further questions, this is about the invoices. How your contractual situation with customers is, is a different story. Especially these two main points were discussed: 📍Skool is the invoice issuer. Therefore, the company address and VAT ID (UST-ID) are now listed there. Your group name appears twice. Once as a product description and once as a logo with the note "via Skool." The VAT ID or tax ID of your customer is also listed there. VAT must be stated, even if it is zero, to make it clear whether Skool has paid VAT to the US tax office and thus you no longer have to, or if you still need to pay VAT here in Germany, e.g., due to reverse charge. 📍Since Skool is the invoice issuer, we need a credit note invoice. I was also shown a template for this. So things are moving, even if slowly.
