I have some theories, such as I had changed my thumbnail approach Sinpler designs of the film i'm reviewing tend to create a "curiosity gap" for the viewer, I tied my first 5 seconds of video statement to the title that paired with the thumbnail, and it resulted in a better hook to keep people to stay for my review on A Quiet Place Day One. The other most successful video I had last year was that exact formula. The first 6 seconds are critical to keep someone hooked and then it virtue signals to the YT algorithm "This is a trustworthy video I think you the audience goer will like." and it pushes my video more to a wider base. The reason I believe that is most of my video views are %98 people who are not subbed to me. At least that's the theory and i'll be doing it for most of my videos going forward as an experiment.
