Awesome to have you here Waihon! What's your biggest challenge right now that you're having?
Introduction
Howdy everyone! I am a social, curious, and eager college student that wants to kickstart my career. I am thrilled to have found a community—filled with people that want to improve their lives. I come from a creative background (art/design). I heavily enjoy brand positioning and marketing. I am deeply interested in finding out how the world really functions. This curiosity motivates me to study Economics and Political Science at UC Berkeley. With all the resources MPH and Brian provides I hope to land an opportunity in high ticket sales, marketing, or consulting. Although I currently have no clue what, eventually I aspire to create my own business, and provide scalable value. Excited to see how this journey plays out together. I feel I will learn much from this community: rich of both professional and personal experience! Burnout is real but there's are ways to prevent it...
One year ago, I reached a breaking point. I was working 12-hour days, barely sleeping, and constantly feeling overwhelmed. The pressure to keep up with everything led to burnout. I was exhausted, uninspired, and questioning if this path was even worth it anymore. So, I made the hardest decision of my life. I stepped back. I cut my work hours in half, reorganized the way I ran my business, refocused on my health, and prioritized time with family. At first, it felt impossible. I feared falling behind. But something incredible happened. By giving myself room to breathe, I came back stronger. My creativity flourished, my productivity improved, and I was more energized than ever. By focusing on the things that I enjoyed doing I was able to feel energized while doing them. Looking back, burnout wasn’t a sign of weakness—it was a signal to reset. Lessons Learned: 1. Success is not defined by how hard you work, but by how smart you work. 2. Rest is not a reward—it’s a requirement. 3. True productivity happens when you protect your energy. 4. The fear of falling behind is just that—a fear. Prioritize yourself, and success will follow. 5. Balance isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Have you ever felt this way? What's the most effective way to prevent burnout?

Are you anxiously losing track of time?
If you're like me, you're probably always short on time and looking for ways to optimize it. Whether you're a job seeker feeling bogged down from endlessly applying or you're trying to launch and grow your side hustle, it can be overwhelming. What I realized is that if you're not tracking how you spend your time, you're probably not making the best use of it. This is why I started tracking all my activities using a tracker (or calendar) and sticking to it as closely as I can. It brings you awareness and allows you to be super mindful of how you spend your time. Hopefully this can help you on your journey too, try it out and let me know the results! Here is the link to the doc.

@Jenn Hwang it is and maybe this example from Leila Hormozi is a bit extreme but tracking everything does give you more clarity on what you are doing or not doing. 😬
