Help Us Tell Skool That This Group Is Thriving!
Hi Everyone, Skool recently made a change to its discovery algorithm, which appears to lower the ranking of older, free, and public groups like โ€œAccelerator Universityโ€ compared to other Skool groups that are paid and private. I just wrote this post on the Skool Community to demonstrate that abandoned groups now rank above engaged communities like ours. "Why new algorithm ranks abandoned groups higher now?" https://www.skool.com/community/why-new-algorithm-ranks-abandoned-groups-higher-now/ If Accelerator University has positively impacted you, could you take a moment to comment on this post? Share how youโ€™ve benefited from our curriculum, enjoyed the community experience, and/or the personalized 1-on-1 Coaching. I understand Skoolโ€™s goal is to prioritize โ€œretentionโ€ over growth or engagement. However, this shift will impact older groups like Accelerator University, which has been actively serving members for many months. Please take a moment to click on the link above and tell Skool that the thriving community at Accelerator University is committed to quality discussions, meaningful human connections, and authentic member experiences. Thanks for supporting our mission! I actually like this group and it helped me organize my mind and thoughts especially after the call with Alexi. I'd like this group to rank as high as the value within it. It's not just about upselling. Many people can just pay $100/m and provide nothing inside a private community just to keep their funnel going, in comparison to the ones like this group, having sooo much value dispite being public.

@Alexi Drouin Just said what I believe ๐Ÿ‘Œ
What is the Value of Learning Something You Love to Do?
For a while, I've been 'studying' how to run a biz, over-analysing every little piece of information, try to solve all 'virtual' problems, and some problems of brands that I randomly get their ads. What I didn't understand out along the way is that it shouldn't take that much analysis as much as work. But the problem with me was always being my brain compressed with analysis and problem-solving mechanisms, the thing that when you over-do in business can put extra levels of stress upon your shoulders with zero output. What I accidentally discovered lately, is that when I decompress this urge for problem-solving and 'what-if's' doing something else, I come back with a clearer stress-free mind. It happened when I started to learn coding (which is a passion I abandoned looong ago). It might seem off, but it, some how, aligns with my goal. Nevertheless, the biggest gain was relieving my mind from overthinking. It was the first time for me to notice that, after I got my over-analysis obsession decompressed towards a hard task, I come back to business easy-minded and stress relieved. It felt like doing your workout on the morning so that you get an optimistic whole day. I believe that everyone has that trait that applies an un-necessary extra stress without them noticing. This could be working out, writing diaries, content creation, sharing knowledge, journaling, etc. This Is different from person to person. And last to say is that the hardest task is to find that 'something'. But believe me, it is worth the search...

Cooking ๐Ÿฒ My Next Meeting for My First Free Client ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
Alex Hormozi was completely right about starting with friends ๐Ÿ’ฏ I used to purchase courses about the area I like the most but without getting clients (because you know, no one wants an expert without experience). But once I started talking about it with my friends and selling my ideas, they asked me for help. And that's it. I got hired by my first free client. It was the first time I get my ideas to see the light and being (completely opposite to what I thought) highly appreciated one after the other until I was frequently asked "what is next?" This is when I told myself "here is where my real business plan starts, and exactly the way I like it to be." I've been doing it in a unorganized fashion till I got in contact with @Alexi Drouin and thanks to him, I knew it is called Growth Operating. After that call I started to put my ideas together and create the roadmap for my client with the action steps of the first stage.

In this community you rank more as you give more value. Now, we have Alexi ranks the highest in the community (which is actually anticipated) as a sign of what he is doing. Congrats Alexi and always for the best ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

@Jesรบs Ortuรฑo Well, let's break it to a step-by-step process that I made based on reverse engineering I did on my own journey (as I was in the same shoes 17 months ago). And as I said, I'm gonna tell you 'how to fish' instead of giving you a fish. ๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป๐Ÿ”ป DISCLAIMER: The aim of this loooooooong highly informing comment is to rescue you (or generally speaking, any reader in this same situation, which was me 17 months ago) from falling into something that might not be the best or they don't like just because some gurus told them it's good. ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ๐Ÿ”บ This decision process could be broken down into 3 basic steps: 1. Organizing your thoughts ๐Ÿ“ 2. The decision making process โšก 3. The skill scale โš–๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ Organizing your thoughts: First we define the factors that can influence a right direction of decision making a. How passionate are you? (Yours to answer) But here is the questions that you are going to ask yourself every morning just after you wake up bored and feel you are wasting your time and money (after all the hype fades away leaving you to the harsh truth of working consistently). ๐Ÿ”ป Am I okay with doing this shit everyday, immature and imperfect, repeating the trial-failure cycle without seeing the progress I was thinking or making the money I thought I would make and even though I still be consistent with it everyday for SIX MONTHS and waste my money learning it, repeating the same stuff everyday and I can keep going just because I really enjoy it and I can see myself improving? โœ… If your answer is (yes), I promise you that you will be a top notch in this field one day. โŒ If your answer is (no), then you better slash it down from your list because thinking about it will just make your brain busy for nothing. โž– If you can't answer, then this is what this article is for. b. How likely is it to make you an early money (on an easy/difficult scale)? This needs further detailed breakdown which I'll come back to in the third step.

@Jesรบs Ortuรฑo it can take a single positive comment to make me feel that my efforts didn't die in vain. ๐Ÿ™ It's a boost to me to have this comment from you Jesรบs. I'm really enthusiastic about writing about the next step which I will do tomorrow.
