Have you heard about the 3-month year? No? Don't worry, this technique is used by many people including myself, it is based on the idea that instead of setting yourself yearly goals you should set yourself goals every 3 months. Why? -It reduces procrastination -Increases Clarity -Gives you more chances to succeed Think about it, most of the time you set large goals and then think you have a lot of time to accomplish them because you have one year. Then September starts and you realise you don't have that much time, so you panic and work, but now it is too late to accomplish your goals. Additionally, if you set goals every 3 months, they seem more doable, now you only have 3 months to do them so you are more likely to work towards them for the whole 3 months, and if you live 82 years that means you have 82 tries to accomplish a set of goals. If you set goals every 3 months that means you will have 328 tries to accomplish those same goals. So what do you think? Are you going to start to split your year into sets of 3 months? A lot of you have been saying that you joined because you wanted to learn what type of business to start or simply how to start one. The best way to discuss that will be in this week's community call which will officially be Wednesday. The thing I recommend though is to just start now. Start as soon as possible, it is difficult to start something new and you want to have something that locks you in for when the wave of motivation drops, and trust me it will. If you have an idea of the specific business you want to start write it in the comments, let us know your niche, what you want to sell, and how you are planning to do it. Then let us know what you are struggling with, this might even be that you do not know what to sell or your niche but that is okay! This seems like an ambitious goal, but everyone here is setting ambitious goals so I thought that I would do the same. I have a job that pays me a small amount of money, so how am I going to save 10k in 6 months (Yes 6 months) working for minimum wage? I will do it through my new niche for Skool, Web Design. I already have some savings and with the money I will be able to save up from work I have to make around $6400 in the next 6 months. The first step I did was to break this goal down. I have to get 2 Clients that pay me $533 each month. Yes, that is it. It is all I need to have 10k in savings, if I can find a business model that will make my clients join a membership after I deliver the website, this could be a maintenance subscription for example, that would increase the LTV of the business. Let's say 50% of the clients join: 27$ / month * 12 Clients = 324$ a month This means that in the next 6 months I will have built a business that generates me 1.4k a month and 33% of the income is passive from the subscription. Best part is that I will use AI to generate the first 30-50 percent of the website and most of the copy. BUT WAIT! There is more, I will record the process for the business from the very beginning. From getting the first client, to creating the website, to delivering the website, sending contracts, collecting payments and more! I will teach you everything about this business in my new course coming out in the first week of March!
