Clearing the Confusion | 25 Terms Made Simple
Whether youโ€™re new to the business or just unsure about certain terms, no one should feel left out of the conversation. Iโ€™ve put together a list of terms to help make things clearer. CPL (Cost Per Lead): The cost to get someone interested in your product or community. CPC (Cost Per Click): How much you pay for each click in a paid ad campaign. CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost): The cost to gain a new paying customer. LTV (Lifetime Value): The total revenue a customer generates over their time with you. MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue): Monthly subscription income. ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue): Yearly subscription income. ROI (Return on Investment): Earnings compared to what you spent. Churn Rate: The percentage of members or customers who leave over time. Retention Rate: The percentage of members who continue their membership and/or stay engaged over a specific period of time. Conversion Rate: The percentage of people who take a desired action, such as buying, signing up, or joining a community after visiting the about page. VSL (Video Sales Letter): A video designed to sell a product or service. CTA (Call to Action): Direct instructions like "Join Now" or "Learn More." SOP (Standard Operating Procedure): Step-by-step instructions for how tasks are done. KPI (Key Performance Indicator): Metrics that track success, like sales, engagement, or profit. COGS (Cost of Goods Sold): What it costs to make or deliver your product or service. Scaling: Growing your business while maintaining profitability. 80/20 Rule: Focus on the 20% of efforts that deliver 80% of results. Scarcity: Creating urgency by limiting time or quantity. The Boolean Rule: A clear, specific promise beats a vague offer every time. See Andrew Kirbyโ€™s post: https://www.skool.com/community/the-boolean-rule The Rule of 300: Spend 100 minutes each on outreach, comments, and content daily. Focus on quality interactions to build real connections, not just numbers. See Andrew Kirbyโ€™s post: https://www.skool.com/games/rule-of-300-update-grow-your-skool

Lost Custom URL? skool.com/music
[UPDATE: GOT IT BACK ๐Ÿฅณ] For those that were curious the domain was https://www.skool.com/music. Just HAD to get that bad boy back. I just reactivated a group that I archived for a week but have lost the custom URL I had set for it. I understand it goes back to being available when it's archived but now that I am paying for the group again, is it not possible to resume use? No one has taken it yet. The option to even change URL is totally greyed out. Any ideas how to fix this?

๐Ÿฅท Your Mission.
We've had a debate lately... Some of us think that reviews don't matter for app store playlists. Some of us think that is does. So why dont we just find out? (and finally offer our opinion in mass to the App store) Anyways... Your mission. (Should you choose to accept it) ...is to leave your short review of how skool impacted you! - App store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/skool-communities/id6447270545 - Androiod: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skool.skoolcommunities&hl=en_CA and as a thank you, I will send you virtual hugs!! thx to @Erika Kulpina for this idea nugget! P.S. dont forget to share what you posted!!

Ooops! Here is my proof:
Do members of my community have to pay 99/month too?
I know this is a pretty basic question and I feel like I should know that answer But I want to build a community thatโ€™s focused on living our best lives while keeping God at the centre of it. Ei being able to still do the things I love like sports, making content, making music etc but having God at the forefront of it all. I want the part of my community that talks about our faith and is able to ask questions and connect with others to be completely free. While the second part of it which is using our God given gifts to make money online as a paid course. For those that only want to be in the free part of the communityโ€ฆ would they still have to pay to be in Skool as a whole? Let me know thanks!

You can let it be free, and then change it to 99$/mo if you are in a sales call with a potential customer. You can then make the course only accessible for the selected paying customers.
What I want for Christmas?๐ŸŽ„: Affiliate Links
My mom and grandma and so many other people keep asking me what I want for Christmas this year, and all I can think of is that I want @Sam Ovens and @Alex Hormozi to launch affiliate links for individual skool communities for Christmas. Iโ€™d be more than happy to tell this to my mom, or grandma. However, I think theyโ€™d have absolutely no idea what Iโ€™m talking about. What do you think? What do you want for Christmas?

Nothing against Affiliate links, but I will take that Cyber Truck all the time. ๐Ÿ’€
