What I Learned From Tai Lopez
When I first started my journey, I was a broke 19-year-old detailing cars in the middle of nowhere, South Dakota. I had big dreams but no clue how to make them happen. One day, on my lunch break, I came across this guy named Tai Lopez—you know, the “Here in my garage” guy.
At first, I thought, “Is this guy legit, or is he just flexing Lambos and books?” But something he said stuck with me:
“The more you learn, the more you earn.”
That one idea hit me hard. I didn’t have much, but I had a hunger to learn. So, I scraped together $27 to buy one of his courses. It wasn’t some magic wand, but it was the spark that lit the fire.
Here’s what I learned from Tai that changed everything:
1. Invest in Yourself
I was scared to spend money on that course because, let’s be real, I barely had $27. But Tai taught me that investing in your education is the only way to grow. Since then, I’ve spent over $250,000 on courses, coaching, and mentorships. Each one has pushed me closer to mastery.
2. It’s About What You Give
Tai said, “You can have everything you want in life if you help enough people get what they want.” I shifted my focus from making money to solving problems. That’s when I started getting clients—because I wasn’t selling; I was serving.
3. Don’t Reinvent the Wheel
Tai taught me to learn from those who’ve already succeeded. I started modeling his strategies, applying them to my niche, and tweaking them to fit. It worked. I built a system for running ads that now generates millions for my clients.
4. Balance Your Life Like a CEO
One thing Tai emphasized was balance—health, wealth, love, and happiness. You can grind all day, but if one of these areas is out of whack, you’ll burn out. I took that advice seriously, and it’s made a huge difference in how I live and work.
How It’s Going Now
Fast forward a few years, and I’m running a multi-seven-figure agency. I’ve helped clients like Andy Elliott, Chris Voss from The Black Swan Group, and countless local businesses scale their revenue using ads and automation.
It all started with one idea: Learn more to earn more.
I’m sharing everything I’ve learned about ads, automation, and scaling businesses inside this community because I believe knowledge should be shared, not hoarded.
